To help you with the letter, you will need:
- Landlord’s full name & address (the address they have on record)
- Pictures with a date stamp of things that need repair

The County Assessor can help you with the full name and address of the owner on record, the year built and effective year of the property you live in, and can tell you how many units are registered to that address. All these pieces if information are public records and therefore are easily accessible. Call them between the hours of 8:30 and 4:30pm.
If you cannot mail this letter, you can also email the letter or drop it off. The most important thing is to write that letter and keep a dated and signed copy of it.
